We invited you to enter a contest, but we didn’t tell you all there was to know.
Ride or Die is how you win your chance to see Johnathan Tavares lace up his skates for his boyhood team, The Toronto Maple Leafs, for the very first time.
Such an epic prize requires a very special contest. So we brought our qualifiers to C103 headquarter to gather some more “Qualifying Information.”
Once we got them here, we put their friendship to the test.
Each qualifier was asked to name who they would take on this special trip if they won. We then made them call that friend to see if they are worthy of such an honor. We gave our contestants a made up reason for why the contestant needed to be picked up right away. If the friend says yes, they are qualified. Say no… and your journey is over.
These are their stories. Some calls have been edited due to language.
